It starts with Ready, Set, Trace!, which builds pencil control with lines, curves and loops. ABC Tracing Adventure teaches every letter's shape and sound. Sound Detectives works on beginning sounds and rhymes, the listening skills that come before reading. CVC Word Quest moves into blending three-letter words like cat and sun. Finally, Sight Word Explorers: Pre-K and Sight Word Explorers: Kindergarten cover 92 high-frequency words between them.
Because the books are in a clear order, you can simply start where your child is. A 3 year old might begin with tracing, while a 5 year old who knows letters can jump to CVC words and sight words.
