About this book
Sight Word Explorers: Pre-K
Sight Word Explorers: Pre-K covers the 40 Dolch pre-primer sight words, from a, and and away to we, where, yellow and you, with one practice page for each word. It is for children aged 4 to 5 and has 53 pages.
Every word page follows the same routine. Your child reads the word, colors it in bubble letters, traces it, writes it on their own and then finds it hidden among other words. That steady pattern means they soon know what to do without help.
After every four words there is a read-and-color review page, ten in total, which brings back the words just learned. Short, frequent review is what moves a word from “I traced it” to “I can read it.”
A certificate comes at the end. These sight word worksheets suit a child who knows most letter sounds and is starting to read simple books. The file is a printable PDF in black-and-white, sized for US Letter or A4.
