About this book
Good Morning! Kindergarten Warm-Ups
Good Morning! Kindergarten Warm-Ups has 185 pages for children aged 5 and 6: 180 daily warm-ups, one for every school day of a 36-week year, plus two stamp charts, a how-to page and a certificate. Each page takes about five to ten minutes, which makes it easy morning work at home or in a classroom.
Every Monday is a Good Morning check-in with the day, the weather, the letter and number of the week, a sight word and a simple sum.
The page changes every day, and the same kind of page never comes two days in a row. The rest of the week rotates phonics pages for that week's word family, sight-word pages and dot-marker hunts, picture crosswords, symbol secret codes, picture word ladders, fix-the-sentence and fill-in story pages, ten-frames, number bonds, path mazes, tally graphs, color-by-code pictures, spot the difference, cut-and-sort, roll-and-write and the week's math page.
The skills follow the weekly sequence of our kindergarten plan, so the work grows with your child across the year. You don't need the curriculum to use the warm-ups. You get a colourful edition and an ink-saving black-and-white edition, each in US Letter and A4.
