Your child colors each one, cuts it out, folds it and glues it so it stands on its own. A full-page coloring scene shows a big garden of sunflowers, tulips and daisies with a butterfly.
The finished flowers make a cheerful spring table display, a pretend flower shop, or a small handmade gift for a grandparent or teacher. Along the way, children practice cutting curves around petals and leaves, which is a step up from straight lines.
