The crafts come first. Your child decorates paper egg ornaments, makes a bunny ears headband, and builds stand-up spring friends: an egg, a basket, a hatching chick and a bunny. A fill-the-basket page lets them cut out eggs, a chick, a tulip, a carrot and a lily and glue them into a basket.
Then comes the coloring. One scene shows children painting eggs at a table, and another has a chick hatching from a decorated egg in a basket with tulips and a bunny. Ten big single pictures follow, each with a word to trace: an egg, a basket, a hatching chick, a bunny, a chocolate bunny, a bonnet, jelly beans, a striped egg, a lily and an egg cup.
