About this book

Cursive A to Z

Cursive A to Z is a 29-page cursive handwriting book for children aged 7 to 9, with one page for every letter of the alphabet.

Each page shows the capital and lowercase letter large in a school cursive style, so your child can see the shape and the slant clearly. Below are rows of gray letters to trace, followed by empty lines to write the letter on their own. The last rows give two real words that begin with that letter, written joined up, to trace and then copy.

Going one letter a page keeps practice short and focused. Tracing first builds the motion, and writing alone checks that it has stuck. The how-to page suggests keeping the pencil moving, holding the slant steady and saying the letter's name as you go.

The book includes a certificate at the end. These cursive writing worksheets come as a black-and-white printable PDF for US Letter or A4, and a plastic sleeve turns any page into reusable dry-erase practice.
