About this book
Shape Explorers Workbook
Shape Explorers is a shapes workbook for children aged 3 to 5, with 25 printable pages covering eight shapes: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, oval, star, heart and diamond.
Each shape has its own page. Your child traces the shape, says its name, and finds it among others. Two shape-matching pages then link shapes to everyday things, such as a ball, a window, an envelope, a kite or a wheel, which helps children see shapes in the world around them.
The rest of the book stretches early thinking skills: a pattern page, odd one out, ordering by size, two big-and-small pages, four dot-to-dots (a star, a heart, a house and a kite), a shadow match and two finish-the-picture pages that work on symmetry. A certificate comes last.
These shape worksheets for preschool come as a black-and-white printable PDF, ready for US Letter or A4. Afterward, go on a shape hunt around the house together.
