About this book
Farmyard Math & Reading Fun
Farmyard Math & Reading Fun is a 31-page farm pack for ages 4 to 6, with cows, pigs, sheep, goats, hens, chicks, ducks, horses, a tractor and a scarecrow.
Its two coloring scenes are a farm stand piled with baskets of apples, carrots and eggs, and sheep grazing on a hill with a sheepdog and a windmill.
The math practice uses farm animals throughout. Your child counts and writes numbers to 20, matches numbers to groups of animals, adds animals together, takes away eggs, compares more and less, does an I-spy count and makes a graph. Reading practice includes tracing farm words, cut-out word cards, two sentence pages, two word searches and a page to write a farm story. Count-and-clip cards, patterns, ordering by size, odd one out, a maze, a dot-to-dot and a symmetry page add variety.
These farm worksheets for kindergarten come as one black-and-white printable PDF for US Letter or A4. They pair well with the Down on the Farm Busy Book for a younger sibling.
