My Big Preschool Busy Book is not tied to a season or a holiday, so you can use it any month of the year. It is for children aged 3 to 5 and has 40 pages built around the everyday pictures little ones know: apples, balls, balloons, a bus, a cat, a cow, a duck, a rocket and a train.
Three coloring scenes show children playing in the park with a kite and a dog, a train full of smiling animals going over a hill, and a garden with big flowers, a bee, a butterfly and a snail. The activity pages give a little of everything a preschooler practices: tracing words and paths, mazes, dot-to-dots, counting and writing numbers, big-and-small, patterns, matching shadows, odd one out, an I-spy counting page and a simple picture graph.
Cut-out count-and-clip cards and word cards add scissors work, and a certificate closes the book. It works well as a first preschool busy book printable for 3 year olds who are just starting to hold a crayon with control.
