The Frog Life Cycle Explorer Kit is a 10-page science printable for children aged 4 to 7 that traces how a frog grows, from a clump of eggs in a pond to a frog catching bugs on land.
The read-aloud fact page explains each step simply. Frog eggs float together in a jelly clump called frogspawn. A tadpole hatches, breathes with gills and swims with its tail. The froglet grows legs while its tail shrinks, and the grown frog breathes air, hops on land and catches bugs with its long tongue.
After reading, your child fills in a life-cycle wheel, cuts and pastes the stages in order, traces the words eggs, tadpole, froglet and frog, and cuts apart word cards to play with.
