About this book
Tick Tock! Telling Time Pack
Tick Tock! is a telling time pack for children aged 5 to 7, with 15 pages that teach o'clock first and half past second.
The first six practice pages are all on the hour. Your child looks at where the short hand points, reads the time, and writes it. Then they draw the hands on blank clock faces to show a time themselves. Six more pages repeat the same steps for half past, where the long hand points down to the 6.
The how-to page explains the difference between the short hand and the long hand in plain words and suggests saying the time out loud together at breakfast, lunch and bedtime. A certificate rounds things off.
Keeping to just two kinds of time makes it a manageable first step before quarter past and five-minute times. These telling time worksheets come as a printable PDF in black-and-white for US Letter or A4, and a plastic sleeve turns the clock pages into reusable practice.
