About this book
Halloween Math & Reading Fun
This 30-page set of Halloween worksheets for kindergarten and pre-K keeps the holiday cute rather than creepy. It is for 4 to 6 year olds and mixes counting, adding, reading and writing.
The pictures stay friendly throughout: jack-o'-lanterns, a ghost, a black cat, a witch hat, candy corn and a candy bucket. Two coloring scenes show a row of jack-o'-lanterns in different sizes lined up on a fence and a trick-or-treat bucket spilling over with wrapped treats on a porch step.
Your child traces Halloween words, reads short “I see a” and “I like the” sentences, and searches for words in two word searches. The math pages count and write numbers to 10 and to 20, match numerals to groups, add with pictures, cross out to take away, and graph a set of Halloween pictures. Count-and-clip cards, patterns, ordering by size, a maze, a star dot-to-dot and a symmetry page add variety, and a draw-and-write page asks for a Halloween story.
You download a black-and-white printable PDF for US Letter or A4.
