About this book
Garden Bugs Busy Book
Garden Bugs is a spring and summer busy book for 3 to 5 year olds who love anything that crawls, flutters or buzzes. Across 40 printable pages they meet ladybugs, butterflies, dragonflies, grasshoppers, caterpillars, snails, bees and ants.
The coloring scenes are set in the garden: a ladybug, a bee and a butterfly among big flowers, a snail and a caterpillar on wet leaves after the rain, and a child kneeling in the grass with a magnifying glass. Color-and-trace pages show single bugs with their names in dotted letters.
The rest is classic preschool practice: tracing bug words, steering along paths, three mazes, dot-to-dots, counting bugs to 5 and 10, more-or-less, big-and-small, size order, patterns, shadow matching, odd one out and an I-spy page. Clip cards and word cards give scissors practice, and the last pages are a drawing page and a certificate.
It prints from a black-and-white PDF on US Letter or A4, and it fits nicely into a spring preschool unit on insects.
