About this book
Pumpkin Life Cycle Explorer Kit
The Pumpkin Life Cycle Explorer Kit follows a pumpkin from a flat white seed to a big orange pumpkin. It has 10 printable pages for children aged 4 to 7.
The read-aloud fact page explains the stages in plain words. A seed is planted in warm soil in late spring. About a week later, a sprout with two round leaves pops up. A long vine grows big leaves and yellow flowers, and bees carry pollen between them. A small green pumpkin forms behind a flower and, by fall, it is big, orange and ready to pick.
After reading, your child labels a life-cycle wheel, cuts and pastes the stages in order, traces seed, sprout, vine and pumpkin, and cuts out word cards. The coloring page shows a child watering a small pumpkin plant in the garden with a snail and a wheelbarrow nearby. A What I Learned page and a certificate complete it.
This pumpkin life cycle printable for kindergarten and pre-K comes as a black-and-white PDF for US Letter or A4. It pairs well with the Pumpkin Patch Learning Pack.
