Stars & Stripes is a Fourth of July pack of 31 worksheets for ages 4 to 6, with flags, fireworks, the Liberty Bell, the Statue of Liberty, a bald eagle, picnic baskets, hot dogs and watermelon.
The coloring scenes show a family watching fireworks over a park from their picnic blanket, and a small-town parade with a drum, balloons and flags.
Your child counts fireworks to 10 and 20, adds hot dogs and other pictures, takes away, compares more and less, matches numbers to sets and makes a graph. The literacy pages ask them to trace Independence Day words, read short sentences, cut out word cards, find words in two word searches and write a short story. Count-and-clip cards, patterns, size order, odd one out, a maze, a star dot-to-dot and a symmetry page add a bit of everything.
