About this book
A Year of Family Fun Planner
A Year of Family Fun Planner is a 19-page printable for the whole family. It is less a worksheet and more a way to plan small adventures together across the year.
There is a calendar page for every month with a few ideas to spark plans: building a blanket fort in January, a puddle walk in March, a backyard campout in May, stargazing in June, apple picking in September and making paper snowflakes in December. You choose a few, write them in, and hang the page where everyone can see it.
Four seasonal bucket lists add more, each with eight ideas to check off, such as flying a kite and visiting a farm in spring, catching fireflies in summer, going on a hayride in fall and building a snowman in winter. A family goals page asks what your family wants to do together this year.
The ideas lean toward simple, often free activities, like a walk, a picnic or a game. The planner is a black-and-white printable PDF for US Letter or A4, so children can decorate the pages too.
