Sunny Summer is a screen-free summer busy book for 3 to 5 year olds, with 40 pages of sunglasses, beach balls, sandcastles, buckets and spades, flip-flops, popsicles and palm trees.
The coloring scenes are pure vacation. Children build a sandcastle with buckets and shells, a family shares lemonade and watermelon at a park picnic while a kite flies overhead, and a child eats a popsicle under a beach umbrella with a crab close by. Two more big summer pictures come with words to trace.
The activity pages keep skills ticking over during the break: tracing summer words, following paths, three mazes, dot-to-dots, counting to 5 and 10, more-or-less, ordering by size, patterns, matching shadows, odd one out and an I-spy page.
